The course will be run using Zoom over the internet and will take place as follows:
1) Our NEBOSH tutor will present and teach live over the internet
2) The course will take place using Zoom (For Education)
3) Course times will be from 09:00 – 16:00
4) The course will be interactive and engaging
5) The course will be taught the same way as the classroom based course with group sessions, videos, PowerPoint and group chats, exam question practice, real life stories and conversation
6) To provide additional support to students we aim to have as many one-to-one sessions as possible with students to mark mock exam answers, discuss progress and answers any questions. One-to-one sessions will take place during breaks, lunch, before the course starts, after the course and weekends. We will basically fit this round you.
7) Course books will be included and sent out by post directly from our book supplier to the student.
8) No special software or zoom subscription required.
9) As we will be using ‘Zoom’ for the course, there is a feature that allows us to split students up into groups of 2 or 3 and give each group a private meeting room to work on group sessions, rather than trying to work in groups when the whole class is in the same meeting room, which can be a little distracting.
10) Around 1 week before the course start date, you will receive a information on how to join the Zoom course including a link to download the Zoom software.
All you require is a suitable internet connection, tablet (minimum 10″ screen), laptop or desktop computer and a webcam (separate or built in). Also, ideally a private room and comfortable chair with a table if you can.
Did you know: Pass rates for the virtual course are the same as the face to face course.
